Instructional Design

Instructional Design is a scientific discipline engaged in research aimed at designing and developing effective teaching methods and tools, teaching technologies and systems, usually realized with the help of modern computer and information technologies.

Pedagogical design is an interdisciplinary science. It is based on a number of theoretical concepts and concepts that describe, on the one hand, the stages of the learning process, and on the other hand general approaches to the organization and design of the educational process.

The fundamental theoretical basis of Instructional Design are:

 Behaviorism (theory of learning and the theory of programmed learning B.F. Skinner constructed on its basis);

 Gestalt theory of perception (M. Wertheimer);

 Cognitive psychology (J. Bruner);

 Theories of the development of thinking and speech (J. Piaget, L.S. Vygotsky).

and etc.

The main projects of the department in the direction of Instructional Design:

• Development of the concept of a system of courses for additional education of schoolchildren in the field of information technology (Children's computer center Project)
